Feeling their pleading gazes on him, Alex tried to hide his anger and nodded his head as he stood up from his seat.

He walked out of the room followed by Gabi who smiled at the rest of them before leaving for a better place.

"You are not getting another man or woman as your partner in the coronation ceremony and I will be the one deciding your wife in the future." she announced in a dominating voice when he raised a brow with a mocking smile on her face.

"His majesty had already blackmailed me to kill Oliver for the position of the emperor. What do you have to offer me in exchange for my freedom?" his words did not sound like him at all.
