Ethan stared at her when he found tears welling in her eyes again making him frown.

"Lia, are you okay?" he took a step closer when she glared at him. 

Why? It was a consensual kiss. He had felt her initiation, that was why he took the action.

"I need to leave." she muttered and turned when he held her hands with force.

"Not this time. You can not always decide to leave, Lia on your own." his voice had authority she knew and her knees turned weaker.

But she braced herself.

"I should not be here in the first place." she warned when he scoffed.

"But you are already here and we have already kissed. You can not change reality and you can not always run away from it." her face turned pale instantly when his eyes softened, "lia, if there is something that is hurting you, then you can talk to me. We can solve it together. I am sure if you share, we can find the solution."
