Kapitel 172: Almost Midnight
Rainn explained everything he knew to the five people around him. Cadsava should also know about what happened.
There was no point in leaving her in ignorance while danger was about to knock on their door.
As much as Rainn had expected, Cad's face looked worried and filled with fear. She hugged her knees on the sofa as if she wanted to hide.
Rainn looks at her and wants to say that everything will be fine and nothing will happen to her. But Rainn didn't know why, he had a bad feeling in his heart.
Making Rainn hesitate to say anything to Cad.
Rainn pursed his lips nervously. He couldn't get the words out to give Cad some reassurance. Because he himself was also not feeling calm.
Rainn sighed.
"So we just have to wait here?" Aiden asked.
"Of course not," Rainn said. "At least not Cad. She'll get out of here to safety. But we'll be here and confront them."
Aiden sighed. "Well, that's what we always do, isn't it?"
