Kapitel 115: "Lizeth and Erick's Fixed End" 

The queen was even heartbroken when she saw her husband being forced into this state, having to marry and even have children with someone he didn't love! 

She remembered how the king almost committed suicide to prove his love to the queen, but the queen persuaded him to endure. 

The disgust the king had towards Anne was completely different from other concubines. 

The king himself never treated the concubines badly aside from not wanting to meet them after he did his duty to have children with these concubines. 

He also never mistreated the children born from these concubines. 

He was just more partial to Isabella, who was born from his beloved wife, the queen. 

However, Lizeth's existence as the first princess who was born even earlier than Isabella by a whole ten years or so became a thorn in the king and the queen's eyes. 

The queen couldn't get pregnant for a long time and she naturally longed for children.
