"You dare not appreciate your lap pillow? Am I not useful, your majesty?" 

Duke Fez sometimes teased Isabella by calling her politely, just like when he first met the little kid. 

When Mariella heard this, she usually would pout and throw tantrums. 

"Dad! Don't poke my belly! It's about to burst! And what's with the lap pillow? It's so hard and cold...not useful at all!" 

But the kid kept hugging Duke Fez's waist and used his lap as her exclusive throne...

What a dishonest mouth. 

Duke Fez used to be a cold duke, but after getting along with Mariella, he turned into a dad who liked to tease his daughter until she cried. 

"Heh. If my lap is hard and cold, then you can go sleep on the stone in the garden. Shoo. Shoo." 

Duke Fez picked Mariella's body just like when he's picking a small piglet. 

Then, he didn't hesitate to bring her to the balcony, apparently about to throw her to the garden below.
