Killian sat on the edge of the bell's tower of the church, watching as half of Calaren Town was burned to ashes. Next to him, Lorcan sat impatiently as he watched the unseelie going into a killing spree.

"How come you allowed Zephyr to play this time, but not me?" The young boy pouted, his cat-like eyes shining like embers in the dark.

"Didn't you hear what he said? It was a request from his bride. Who are we to interfere in his affairs?" Killian replied, ruffling the hair on Lorcan's head with one hand.

Lorcan slapped his hand away and groaned. He was slightly distracted when a flock of crows with red eyes surrounded them. They were Killian's eyes and ears and he'd been using them for some time now to gather information without being noticed by others. The only time they were noticed was when Iris killed one of his crows before her arrival in Asnar with his younger brother.
