As I sat in the guest room before the blazing fireplace, with a heavy blanket wrapped around what had been my shaky body, along with a warm drink placed in my hands by the servants, I felt dizzy from my deflated emotions.

I frowned, my knuckles stretching against my skin as I tightened my hold on the mug. This was ridiculous, why were they giving me something hot in an already heated environment? I hadn't been trembling from a cold, but of course, the servants may not have known or guessed.
