When they got to the ceremony, everyone stood up to show respect for the alpha of Incayon and her new mate. Even the king and his queen stood up for him. 

There wasn't a thing they could do about it, but there was also no denying that happiness was something that had evaded Kim Rania for years on end. Everyone was aware of the story of the girl who had lost everything for a home so ungrateful. 

They knew the take of the girl who never had anyone in her corner save for her sister and the friends she had accumulated over the years. They knew her sad tales, but none of them had ever seen her happy. 

And that made the night very special.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Daehyun had asked his brother earlier when they received the news that Kaia and Rania were mates. 

Of course, that had been the most unsettling of news in the damn dungeon after the fact that Kim Rania was no longer mated to the Calindra alpha.
