Kapitel 199: Ancient Library

"Change my mind?" The King asked before Matthew could leave the room. "Are you saying that you are going to confront the noble houses?"

"Those are your words, father."

The King snorted. "I am not going to give you permission to hurt the noble house."

Matthew said nothing. Instead, he walked out of the room.

Seeing this, Ava was tempted to follow Matthew but for some reason, she was also interested to see what the King would do after that conversation.

"Show yourself."

Ava almost pissed her pants when she heard the King say those words.

What the hell?

"Your Majesty…" An old woman wearing a yellow long gown appeared next to the King. Ava's eyes widened. She didn't sense the woman's presence earlier.

"How was it?"

"The potion should be done by the end of the day. I am sure that the young lord is going to love it."

"And the woman?"

"We have chosen the best."
