Kapitel 39: Good Try

A few minutes before…

The smell of blood filtered through her nostrils.

Ava was losing too much of it. And while she heals faster than normal humans, there is no way that she would be able to survive this kind of wound while inside an iron room.

'Tsk'

She knew the man was watching her. She had noticed the red light that kept on blinking on the corner of the ceiling. She closed her eyes. The man was clearly enjoying this.

Witches can be very powerful. She believed that aside from iron, a witch's real weakness was the lack of knowledge and understanding. She had read some texts about powerful witches from ancient times. Witches that could create their own spell.

However, that would require a vast understanding of elements and spells.

Of course, Ava was aware that she was far from that kind of witch. Her understanding about life and death was shallow.

And this was one of her weaknesses.

She lowered her head as she started thinking of another way.
