They kept arguing about it for hours, getting further away from the subject at hand; how would they get inside Valtrar without giving away what they could do? It was better to show the opposite of what you were to keep away trouble.

Literally, no one noticed the changing surroundings around them. The miasma crawled away. The trees became livelier, giving more shades and showing more colors. The fading symbol restored and the gate was open. There were two knights standing there while others patrolled inside. Some of them had booze and were sitting around a game of cards. Laughter and smiles highlighted the atmosphere.
