Kapitel 149: In a single moment

Time seemed to have come to a stop. Everything happened too fast. 

As soon as Jie Fu Lian's body leaned back, falling into the abyss, Hua Tianshu moved on instinct and tried to save the man but unfortunately, he was still late. 

Hua Tianshu reached out to grab Jie Fu Lian's hand but the only thing he grabbed was empty air. 

With his eyes bulging out in horror, Hua Tianshu stayed at the edge of the cliff and looked down at Jie Fu Lian who had already closed his eyes and was slowly sinking deeper into the abyss.

In the end, Hua Tianshu also decided to jump in after Jie Fu Lian but was stopped by Sect Master Quan who quickly moved and somehow managed to pull the man back to safety. 

"Jie Ming..." Hua Tianshu muttered out but nobody answered. 

Sect Master Quan immediately pressed his fingers behind Hua Tianshu's neck and knocked the man out, afraid that if he didn't do so, Hua Tianshu would push him aside and jump into the abyss.
