Kapitel 63: Possessive Kiss

The dining was like how I remembered it. The old chandelier that was on the ceiling was one that makes use of lighted candles.

Mother was an old soul. She was a sucker for history and old things, that was why we are stuck in a house that has stuffed better suited for the eighteenth century.

The dining wasn't left out.

Instead of having those relaxing chairs where you can lean on when eating, this one keeps a person on their toes.

Not that I minded at all.

Being here reminded me so much of my mother. It made me miss her so badly that it hurts. However, I didn't allow the thoughts of my mother to weigh me down.

I glared at my stepmother who was silently flirting with Sly who seemed like he will prefer to be anywhere but here.

Watching her made me angry, much towards murderous.

I clutched the spoon tightly in my hand, as I tried to prevent myself from reaching out, and tugging on her fake hair.
