"Well, nothing I can do about it now." Joshua said with a sigh. "Lucy, you said everyone is in the capital?"

"They are." Lucy replied. "Then that is where we shall go. Should we fly there?"

"Joshua a moment." Lucy said while pulling him away from the priest so he wouldn't hear. "Remember the gods' vengeance event, well after doing some research in my spare time, I discovered that it wasn't the gods at all.

There has actually been zero activity on the god front. It is almost like they no longer care what happens on this planet that has been removed from the cycle."

"So, what caused it?" Joshua asked.

"You did." Lucy replied. "The path of destruction is the same path we flew, and the timing is exactly the same as well. All of that happened because your power is strong enough to change the face of the planet without you even knowing that you are doing it.

That was before your newest powerup. I assume you got another fragment out of that dungeon as well?"

"I did." Joshua replied.
