[Back at the restaurant when Ma-Ri Choi tried to flirt with him…]

"She has been eyeing us since earlier," I said to my partner softly, in a way only the two of us could hear. "A little more push, and we can finally get our chance."

"Yeah, so let's just continue what we're doing."

"Uhm."

Though we acted like a romantic couple, the heavy atmosphere between us was still evident. Haah… I said too much last night that I made her cry. I shouldn't have done that. To make this partnership last, we should work together with full cooperation. It's a good thing that she works professionally and still kept our act despite her feelings, but something superficial like this won't last long.

Apart from that, there was another thing that had been bugging my heart since last night. There was this incomprehensible stinging pain in my heart—as if multiple needles were pricking me.
