It felt like someone poured cold water on me when I heard Josh's confession, and I couldn't believe what he said, and I slowly sat down on my swivel chair since I felt too weak to remain standing.

"I have a daughter?" I asked, and he nodded his head.

"Emily asked me to talk with you since she wasn't ready to face you just yet, and I am standing in front of my rival." He answered, and I could see the pain on my cousin's face.

"I love Emily, and I wanted to tell her everything, but I realized I couldn't because she couldn't stop talking about you. We were close friends, and she was closer to you, and I always followed you around since I wanted Emily to like me too, and when she told me she was leaving you behind, I was the happiest guy in the universe." Joshua added.
