Kapitel 501: I Don't Need It Anymore

Rachel had hung out with everyone from their group at least once by now and liked everyone but she really did need friends her age. Derek knew Joy was concerned about that too because of her emotional maturity level. That she wouldn't fit in with high schoolers.

She had signed up for orchestra though. Hopefully, she would be able to make likeminded friends there. Even if she was a little odd. She was going to have to stop wearing Lala to school though and he was a bit worried what she would do without it since the monkey was basically her security blanket.

Taking it off to go swimming for a few hours was one thing but doing it for most of the day every weekday? She might get antsy.

"I hope everything goes well for her. Gwen says she's a good kid," Hunter offered.

"She is," Derek said with a small smile.

"You're really okay with all of this then?" Jacob asked hesitantly, making him sigh.

"Didn't I already say I was fine?"
