Kapitel 400: We Need The Money

Daniela threw herself into her husband's arms and began rambling in Spanish because she was afraid for him. "Why didn't you quit? If you're in danger, you need to quit! Quit tomorrow! I can't lose you, Sam! I can't!" 

"…what was that?" he asked. 

She let out a groan of frustration and dumbed it down. "Leave dangerous job."

"I can't!" 

"Why?!"

"We need the money," Sam said in Spanish as if it should have been obvious. 

No amount of money was worth his life though. Why couldn't he understand that? She grasped his shirt in her hands. "I need you to be safe more."

He didn't understand her again. She sighed. "I need you no danger."

"It's only for a couple of weeks."

"That's too long!" 

Sam cupped her face in his hands and gently kissed her lips. "It will be okay."
