Kapitel 337: Inference (4)

Lucien can feel the moon crescent blade vibrating in his hand. His grip on it tighten. He can feel the strong surge of demonic aura being poured out from the blade. This flow of aura became the energy that destroyed the man from the chest. 

Within a few minutes, the man crumbled into a heap of black debris. A hissing sound came out with a faint smoke. Lucien looked over his shoulder and found Lexi staring at him.

The look in her eyes became tranquil and bottomless. She was calm but there was an indescribable emotion lingering in the depths of her eyes that she doesn't want others to see. 

The dark surrounding suddenly disappeared, replaced by the familiar office room. Keith immediately ran inside and stared at the two with wide eyes. 

"What happened?!" Keith demanded. 

Lucien is also clueless. He couldn't answer. He stared imploringly at Lexi who seemed to become herself now.
