Kapitel 248: Ghost world

This is strange.

After the pebbles of the warped disappeared, Lucien thought that was all the surprises he will encounter tonight. But no, there's still much more.

Lexi approached the door. Her hand stayed still in the doorknob, she was about to twist when her hand suddenly withdrew.

Leon noticed the strangeness of her action. The frown on his eyebrows began to deepen. Lucien followed the direction of where he was staring and find out the doorknob was flipped. Instead of the twist handle, it has changed into a keyhole.

Leon patted Lucien's shoulder. "Can you try one of your keys in the keyhole?"

Lucien nodded. He took out two keys and inserted one. It did not fit. He tried the other one, but it also did not work. Leon was surprised to see the two keys in his hand.

"You only have two keys?"

Lucien nodded. "Yes."

"Why?" Leon's dumb expression did not irritate Lucien in the slightest.
