All the other huge animals were powerless against it. How could they stand a chance?
Lucien looked at the surviving humans and started to count heads. There are forty-five people in total. Including him, Keith and Alicia. Lucien heard Keith stopping Alicia from hunting the other huge animals.
He was puzzled. When he was about to ask Keith about it, Keith was looking at the corpses of the animals he killed.
"What's wrong?" Lucien trotted beside Keith.
"Look at the animal's skin." Keith whispered. He also directed Alicia to look.
Lucien was focused on the nearest animal from their spot. A wolf with grey and black fur. Its forehead was bleeding from his shot, and its body was oddly straightened. Especially right around the hind legs.

Lucien: I know. *can't explain he only did it because of his supposed to be weak role. Having a weak heart requires a compassionate heart. Which leads to early death.*
