As the morning came Isabella left her house with Danny and Bethany. Both excitement and sorrow were working on her. She was glad that her father didn't cry or she wouldn't leave the house.
Last night, she mailed Alexander about the place where the driver can stop, but there was no response. However, in the morning when she did not see any car outside her house, she understood that he had received the mail.
"So how're your feelings?" Danny asked when she saw Bella's troubled face in the rearview mirror.
"Ah! nervous. I don't know a relationship, or how it works. I don't know what to do if my things or attitude bother him," answered Bella with a sigh. She knew about fictional romances that she read about in books and saw in movies. A relationship was too complicated. Both the partners had to adjust many things, which they did not love to do, and sometimes due to this, there was a big fight between them. She had seen her friend Danny cry for her love a year earlier. Despite all the excitement, she was scared.
"Yes, you should, because the person is Alexander Luthar. Bella, don't love him. You want fun, you want excitement, all is fine. But love and forgetting the love is very painful and I don't want to see you go through that situation. You deserve better. If you ask me, I don't want you to go to him," Danny said, taking the car to the place where Bella asked her to.
"Danny, don't scare her," Bethany chid Danny as she heard her frightening words. Especially when Bella took a big step in her life.
"I am concerned, Beth," Danny said and stopped her car as she saw a black car and the chauffeur standing outside.
"I know and I am too. But Bella isn't a teenager. She knows what to do," said Bethany, then took her head to Bella. "Listen to me, love happens naturally. You can't stop it. Yet you can be aware of it. Just one month, enjoy the time. If you do sex, be sure that both of you use precautions. That's it," Bethany said with a smile.
"You make me villain Beth," Danny snapped, rolling her eyes. She unbuckled her seatbelt and came out of the car, followed by Bethany and Bella.
"The college will remain closed for three days. So we will meet in 3 days. I was thinking of going on a hike later. What do you say, Isabella?" said Danny, hugging Bella.
"Yeah sure. It'll be fun," replied Bella.
Bethany said with a grin, "Call me often and share your juicy time with the charming devil." Bella's shy eyes refused as she whispered, "Not at all."
"See you in college, bye." Bella carried her small bag and walked to the chauffeur, giving one last glance to her friend.
Bella found the same man who dropped her home from Alexander's house and, seeing her coming, he opened the back door for her just as he did for the first time and it was a really kind gesture. Isabella had a good feeling about this man.
"Good morning, madam," said the man, closing the door. He smiled while greeting Bella. But Madam's words sounded ridiculous, so she couldn't help but inform, "My name is Isabella. You can call me Bella."
"All right, Miss Bella," the driver agreed with a kind smile and turned the car in the opposite direction when Bella saw her friend's car passing by. They waved their hand, making her smile in delight.
On her way, she again enjoyed the less crowded roads with trees and cool breeze, as she knew the place she was heading. She began to get nervous as the distance reduced, making her breath fast. She let out breaths quickly to calm herself, which turned difficult to do. By all means, she was unable to calm herself.
The car halted right next to the big mansion and the same feelings came back to Bella. She hadn't had good feelings in this mansion all because of that old lady who creeped out her heart. She came out with her bag, which had some clothes, and walked to the main door.
She was prepared to be unwelcomed by that lady who detested her every second of her staying in this house. She didn't know what problem she had with her when she didn't know her, but now it's about one month and she had no idea how she would adjust to her.
But to her surprise, when she stepped inside, a butler ran to her, who was doing something and glimpsing her he scampered, wiping his hand on the apron around his waist.
"Pardon Miss. Master asked me to stand here to welcome you, but I forgot," Butler, who was about eighteen years old and looked very young, apologized to her. Bella smiled at his nervousness. The way he neatened the situation was silly.
"It's alright. I don't like people waiting for me at the door," Isabella replied with smiling eyes to alleviate him as he looked frightened. Maybe he feared Alexander.
"Thank you." He bowed with a small smile as he relaxed on Bella's words. He insisted on taking the small bag from Isabella after she denied it several times. In the end, she raised two hands and let him carry her bag, which was not a heavy burden to lug.
"Where is your master?" Asked Bella, looking around as she didn't find the man, nor was he at the breakfast table.
"Master has gone for a morning walk to the mountain," answered the boy, leading her to the room which specially arranged for Isabella to stay.
"Mountain! For the morning walk. Are you kidding?" Isabella reacted with a snap, as he sounded odd. Because the mountain was on the opposite side to the north and this mansion was located to the south, completely two different sides.
"Um!! that's what I know," the butler stopped in front of a room that was locked. It was on the same floor, but far from Alexander's room.
"When will he come?" Bella questioned The Butler when he was busy unlocking the door. He took her small bag and walked into the room. Bella followed him.
"I don't know when, but he asked me to tell you to wait at the breakfast table," the Butler told her and his answer scurried out because he found a vase was placed in the wrong way.
"Perfect," the butler whispered as he settled the vase in the right direction, forgetting someone's existence.
"Do I need to go down now?" Bella asked as the butler was giving her half-finished information. Her voice jolted the Butler and made him turn.
"Pardon me, miss. You can relax and come down with ease. I'll let you know if the master comes soon," Butler said with a bow. He was trying to look professional, but somehow his words and actions displayed his inexperience, which was normal for a young age.
"Alright, thank you," Isabella said with a polite smile, and the butler walked out of the room.
Bella closed the door and looked around the room. Its look and design were similar to Alexander's room; dark or grey. A gloom was there familiar to his aura, but the missing thing was his scent, which Bella loved.
She walked to her cupboard to place her bag but got stunned by the dresses that had been hanging, including shoes on the last block.
"What is this?" Isabella mumbled in confusion as she touched those clothes. They all looked pricy and branded.
"Has anyone been in this room?" Bella whispered. Suddenly her confusion turned into jealousy because her thought made sense. Either they were newly brought for her or belonged to someone else.
