"Hey, wait." Just as Sunny was about to start his bike when a voice heard behind him. He saw it was Bethany, and it made him think about the reason because she wasn't a kind of easy-going girl, but he found her interesting.
"Hi. Can I help you with something?" Sunny asked as he parked the bike, hooking the key in his finger he came to the woman, and his tone was so relaxing, just like a well-mannered man. And his accent was good too, more like a Scottish man.
"Yes, help me by taking your wallet, which you have forgotten," said Bethany, extending her hand with his wallet. Sunny's hand also reached toward his pocket in a hurry, and yes, his pocket was empty.
"Thank you. I didn't realize," Sunny took his wallet and said. He wanted to talk a little more with her, but Bethany shook her head and turned.
"Bethany." he couldn't help himself from calling her.
"Yes," Bethany turned and replied. Her eyes noticed his flushed ears.
"Can I… have your number?" Sunny coughed to complete a single sentence, and the sentence wasn't smooth either. It was like a pair of pressured words.
But a mischievous idea came to Bethany's mind. Placing her hand on her hips, she sexually crisscrossed her legs and came very close to Sunny, where his breath hitched because of the proximity and a faint smell of Bethany's.
"Do you want to flirt with me? That's why you are asking for my number?" Bethany said, she changed her voice into luring.
Sunny got nervous and his voice stammered as he answered, "No… I.. Just. We should be friends."
"But we are not in the age of making friends and I'll love to do hokey pokey with you," Bethany shamelessly said without blinking or flushing. Where Sunny couldn't take it anymore, so he quickly excused himself by saying, "Okay, I think your answer is no. Bye."
Before Sunny could run from that place, Bethany hooked her finger on Sunny's belt and stopped him.
"It would be an insult to me if you run away from me without completing the task. Now I want your number, so here is my phone and type your number," Bethany happily dominated Sunny, which she found hilarious and interesting. Also, the look Sunny had was quite goofy and childish.
"Okay," Sunny quickly type his number on Bethany's phone and vanished from there, speeding the bike. Although earlier he lived near Isabella's house, now it has been a few months, and he has shifted to another street which was a little farther from here.
"Innocent man! what an interesting encounter?" Bethany murmured, looking at the distance where Sunny disappeared, then turned back to enter the house.
"Hmm…. mmm.. mmm," a small humming constantly resonated from Bethany's throat, as her steps became rhythmic and she entered Isabell's room.
Locking the door behind she veered around and saw two women looking at her mockingly while their eyes were laughing as their smirks were getting wider until they turned into a smile.
"What?" Bethany asked, standing at the door. She has a good hunch that what her two friends were going to say will not be something good.
"Nothing, you look different. And this is the first you asked someone's number on your own accord," Bethany commented, scrolling through the internet while Isabella smile sweetly at two of her friends. Just then, her phone vibrated as she got a notification.
Unlocking her phone, she dragged down the status bar when she saw a mail. Opening the mail she read and her brow wrinkled upon it, as she repeated the mail, "Where are you?"
But the sender's name was complicated. She tried to remember if she knew this address, but she couldn't recall. Therefore, she sent back a mail, "Hello! May I know your name?"
"King of Luther industry," the answer popped up. Isabella's finger quivered and her eyes raised a little to see if any of them would have noticed this thing, but they were busy doing nighttime care, which was good. More attention from them only brings trouble to her. Who knows if they saw this mail what kind of message they'll force her to send?
"Okay, send me the script," another mail sent from Isabella, a quick response from her, as well as she picked the reason fast for which this mail has come, though the first question wasn't expected. By the way, she forgot about this script and that devil, Alexander.
Again vibrated, another came, which was fast as if the person was waiting for her response.
"Answer my first question," the mail was roaring as Isabella felt.
'Also, why would she answer the first question? Does it need to be answered that Where is she?' Her thoughts were muddled, finding an explanation.
Still, she typed with a lot of questions in her mind, "Yes, I am at home."
Then she also thought maybe he wanted privacy because he didn't want others to see his company's script.
'It might be possible,' she shrugged her shoulder with this probability.
"Hey, Bella, what are you doing on the phone?" Bethany implored when she was busy scrolling through her phone.
Danny laid down on the bed and her eyes looked at the roof without blinking because her mind was far from here, thinking about the past, which was a happy part of her life, as she had been believing until the truth dragged her out from the fantasy. One thing she could not kill was her feelings.
"Nothing. You tell me, are you texting Sunny?" Isabella's dimple smile deepened as she teased Bethany, who stopped her finger from scrolling and gave a side-eye to Isabella, then raised her middle finger and silently said, "Fuck you."
"Okay, bitches. I need to sleep. Move your ass from this side," Danny said, adjusting herself to a small place because the bed was tiny for three to sleep.
"In this bed, we can't accommodate our ass. Bella darling, why don't you want to buy a bigger bed," Bethany commented and laid in the middle, leaving the window side for Isabella.
"So that you two don't sleep here," Isabella answered.
In the middle of the conversation, an email had already taken its place in her email box. Isabella opened it and found a pdf with a large logo of Luther's industry on the cover of the pdf.
Although he didn't open it, instead she sent another email. "Thanks. I understood. I will start working tomorrow. Good night."
She lay down on the side of the window, but her mind was on wondering whether she had received any mail, whether he had replied to her goodnight too.
Her hand couldn't control itself, as she unlocked the phone and immediately entered the mailbox, but to her dismay, there was no mail from that certain address.
"Turn off the lights," murmured Bethany as she slept beside Isabella and the glare of Bella's phone bothered her eyes.
"Yes, good night," said Isabella and closed her eyes.
At midnight, a black, muscular silhouette appeared in Isabella's room. Although the windows and doors were tightly closed, the figure still reached Isabella's room. The eyes of that silhouette turned bright red in the pitch dark room and it looked like the eyes of a devil.
The figure slowly approached Isabella. Her white jade face was visible in the dark pitch room. Two more breaths were heard, but the devil was not interested, his whole body and eyes only on Isabella.
He knew he loathed humans, but this girl's invitation was fucking tempting. A human could lure a devil was impossible, but the way the devil was drawn toward Isabella could make someone think twice.
"My prey," the devil's voice growled and his nail was about to touch his prey's cheeks when the devil's nose smelled an inhuman smell, and he was well aware of it. His eyes fell on the same dress Isabella has wore in the morning which was on the table near the bed. His hand reached to the dress and brought it near his nose and at that time his horn emerged on his head while his hand burned that place of the dress where he touched it.
Then suddenly Bela opened her eyes and saw a shadowy figure near her but when her eyes met with the red one she screamed out of her lungs.
"Aaa…..!" Isabella screamed and Danny turned on the lights while Bethany hugged Isabella tightly, who was crying loudly with closing eyes.
"Sh!… It's okay. It's a bad dream," Bethany whispered while patting Bella's back to calm her down.
"No-no, there is someone behind me," Isabella said while pointing with her fingers, but didn't look back. Her face was on Bethany's neck and her mouth still repeating the same line.
"Look, Bella, there is no one," Danny said, her voice was heard behind Isabella, as she came behind her to check if any thief was hiding.
As Elsa turned back, she saw only Danny standing and her eyes quickly turned to the window and door to check whether they were open by chance.
"But I clearly saw someone with red eyes," Elsa tried to explain to her friends again, suddenly seeing something unnatural, her whole body still trembling from the impact.
"Bella, darling. When your eyes were full of sleep, and you suddenly open them, sometimes they see something unusual that happens to everyone," Danny said in a low voice as her voice was also covered in sleep.
"Well, if you're not comfortable on this site, you can sleep between us," Bethany suggested and Isabella nodded at her words, as she can't sleep on the same side anymore.
What they didn't notice was the pink dress or maybe they might have realized that Isabella was telling truth.
