Millie realized the urgency in Ceri's voice as she swiftly took the pill and swallowed it without hesitation.

The pill needed about half an hour to take effect after all.

In their current situation, every second counts, and hesitation may lead to death.

As soon as she swallowed the pill, Ceri suddenly held her hand with her left hand while her right hand grabbed the railings of their small bed.
