Kapitel 127: Be careful

Talia's arms were folded as she sat on the floor, her back against the bark of a tree, while Liliana was seated beside her, her head leaning on her shoulder as they stared at Koan who was standing side by side with Raiden, a large group of pack warriors behind them. 

There was silence, not a single trace of smiles or amusement on anyone's faces as he made a call. His face turned grave at each second over the phone until he finally placed the phone away, placing a gun at the other side of his pocket. 

"Well," Talia got up. "Who called?"

Koan turned to Raiden before glaring at the women who were standing side by side with similar probing expressions. 

"It was Alpha Joseph." 

Silence; as they waited still for the explanation of the grave expression on his face. 

"Alpha Drake of Crimson Moon's pack is dead." 

There was a traditional full minute silence as they all bowed their heads down, including Koan.
