Kapitel 49: Sorrowful Goodbye

A little before the appearance of the colossal creature, Elizabeth and Simon were attending to Gabriela in the hospital ward. They were watching the news, which showed the entire city of Fitalica being overrun by monsters. Alarmed nurses were bringing in more patients to the ward, causing it to become overcrowded.

Elizabeth's face couldn't wash her distress about Cipher's well-being, knowing the city was filled with danger. She has been waltzing back and forth as she bites her fingernails.

"It's been hours since he last called. I'm starting to get worried." Elizabeth claimed.

"If you wish to go, go. I'll watch over Gabby." Simon stated.

However, she dismissed the thought and took a seat beside Gabriela. Gripping the edge of the mattress, she stated, "I can't. Cipher told me to protect her."

She gazed at Gabriela's unconscious face, but all she could see was the person Cipher cared about the most. Envy began to accumulate within her.
