Kapitel 170: Despair and resolve

The world truly was a terrifying place.

Whenever I felt at ease-

Whenever I felt good about my life-

Whenever-

I felt peace-

Shit happened.

Every single time.

Every single damn time! 

When I first took over a city- my best friend died.

When I first took over a country- my first born- my little girl- died.

When I first took over the continent- half of my friends… died.

People-

Always died…

Yet-

I didn't.

I saw everything- 

Repeat-

Thousands of times over and over-

Death…

"You don't look so good-"

Birds chirped- probably going back home.

The sun had turned awfully orange-

Kids were running around.

Two kids had me surrounded though.
