"Boy, what's your name?", the old man asked as both of them walked into the forest.

He asked this despite knowing his name. He heard the girls scream and had also heard them say his name back in the inn. Despite that, he wanted to hear it from his mouth.

"Shiro."

"I see. Well, do you know who I am?", the old man asked while smirking at Shiro.

"...no.", Shiro replied truthfully.

Shiro was surprised at himself for not inquiring about it earlier.

Just because the system gave him the quest, he followed it and asked to become a disciple of the man. It was only now that he realized how single-sighted he was.

Then, the old man stood in front of Shiro which made Shiro stop in his tracks.

"Well, I guess that's understandable. I am not how I used to look anymore…", the old man said as he stroked his beard slowly.
