Kapitel 71: LXXI

Breakfast finished quickly, thankfully, because the boy had many more questions that they had no answers to, not yet anyway. But Adam could tell that a bigger mystery was still lurking around the boy.

They all decided to let the boy return to his routine, not allowing the event of last night to disrupt his life. So, Kiev returned with Cathy to prepare for school while Avana helped Adam clean up the kitchen. Jace was still out, performing his obligation to the community.

"Do you have plans today?" Adam abruptly asked, hoping he could discuss their situation while they were alone.

He had no plan to prolong disclosing the truth with her and about his plans. Honestly, they were running out of time. His father only gave him a month, and he already consumed almost half of it.

Besides, he did not want to keep lying to her. It did not sound fair that he knew most of what he needed to know about her while she barely knew anything about him.
