It did cross his mind to finish what he was doing before even entertaining the idea of going down to the central deck to see what the situation was, but Gus knew that he couldn't do that. He had been the one to prompt them to come here, on what was essentially a long shot of substantial proportions. As much as he would personally have liked to, he couldn't really find a way to justify keeping them waiting just so that he could do things with the System a little more. It wasn't as if he hadn't been able to get a lot from the boxes that he had opened already anyway, so he could see no harm in him going now.
Making his way downstairs, he began to mentally prepare himself for whatever he might find down there. Would they be facing off against an armada of Bloody Dawn, or would he have been correct in thinking that there would be few Bloody Dawn here thanks to how soon it had been since this place was marked as lost?
