Kapitel 176: - Outside the Forge

The vehicle that they took to the forge was slightly different to most of the other vehicles that Gus saw moving between platforms. While most were made up of a small compartment shaped like a car with two rotor wings on the sides, the one that Gus and the enforcers took was bigger. There was more space in the main compartment, allowing for more people to travel and more things to be taken with them, and an extra pair of rotor wings were also installed to compensate for the extra mass of the vehicle.

Despite each spire being a fair distance away from each other, the journey between them went by pretty quickly. But it was clear that there was a lot of empty space on the surface of the world.

"Why is this place built like this?" Gus asked. "Why build straight up instead of using the space along the floor?"
