Kapitel 66: Chapter 63 - For the Future
Caelum wanted to be the ruler of the kingdom and created an empire of humans and dragons. He was unsure how it would affect the future but hardly cared how things went. His aim was to grow stronger and acquire the power to contend with the god in this world. Though the power he held could be considered powerful did not take them lightly especially how it could affect the world of Earthland.
The sage dragon deeply thought of his proposal to help in unifying the humans and dragons. He sounded tyrannical in the way he proposed his plans.
"That is why those who refused then let them. We should respect their choice rather than force it. They are as stubborn as those who seek coexistence. I shall help in regards to taming the other dragons."
"I can see your words have some merits. Are you certain that you are able to help in unifying the dragons and humans alike?"
"No, humans and dragons are different creatures held by their views and ideals in life. However, laws should be placed to avoid further conflict. Which is why I suggest any dragons who are against peace shall be sealed into helpless humans giving them a lesson of how humans lived."
"Turning dragons into humans? Is such a thing possible?"
"Not yet, However, I am certain it's possible. Regardless, I'll do my best to end the war with as few casualties as possible."
"What would be payment for your assistance?"
"Let me research magic within the kingdom. I am certain that this place has an archive of numerous books. It may help me in creating magic for humans to use. "
"Is that all?"
"Maybe spending time with Irene could be considered as payment?"
Caelum teasingly said turning towards her who blush and tried to hide her face from him. Belserion saw this couldn't help but inwardly chuckle as it was the first time he had seen her act like a maiden. He took a moment to think about his words and can see the merits. He was certain the young man would one day create a utopia where everything was at peace.
"We humbly accept your help. I hope our dream will come true."
"I will do my best. For now, I am eager to start now if you don't mind. I'll also prepare to cast a barrier across the kingdom to protect the people from invaders."
"Very well, come with me. I shall guide you to our archive."
Irene gestured for him to follow while she told her servants to prepare a place for him to stay while they headed to the archive. She was trying her best to remain composed in front of him and was anxious from the awkward silence.
"Queen Irene-"
"Irene. I don't mind being called by my name."
"Alright if you're fine with that. I am grateful that you're willing to listen to me and trust my words despite knowing the threat I pose."
"No, I should be the one thank you for willing to assist us in this meaningless war."
"I am curious, once you've truly made a world where dragons and humans alike coexist, what will you do from then?"
"...I haven't thought about that."
She contemplated his words since the responsibility of peace always comes first in her mind and is always burdened by it. Irene does not regret it and willingly took it knowing the consequences of being the one who keeps the peace between and dragons alike.
Irene was deep in thought while walking that she didn't notice and accidentally tripped causing her to fall but before she could reach the ground was grabbed by Caelum.
"Hahaha I see that I caught you in quite the dilemma. Pun not intended. You alright?"
"Y-Yes, I am. Thank you."
"No problem, it seems that you've got a lot of time to think about it. Take your time, no need to rush."
She nodded still flustered but had her mind occupied by his question. Irene placed her hand in her heart that felt more alive than before and was confused for its reason. Caelum already felt her emotion flooding into him thanks to [ Harem Parameter ] and already found his way into her heart.
Caelum was no rush and would take time to gain the fruit. After a while, Caelum arrived at the castle library where he found numerous bookshelves and felt eager to understand and learn them.
"This is the castle archive where we have collected every book regarding everything that we are able to store. I usually stay here to learn magic and have yet to perfect it."
"Hmm, what kind of magic were you studying?"
"It is called Enchantment magic. From the book, it is said that Enchantment amounts to the user adding their own Magic onto living or inanimate objects, thereby increasing their natural attributes. For example, enchanting wood to make it stronger than steel, or enchanting swords into human beings with immense power."
"Is that so? I guess I'll start there, can you show me where the book is?"
Irene nodded, taking him to the magic section of the library in which he found numerous magic theories that are still in development and found few things worth having. Caelum looked at Irene who brought back a book and handed it to him.
"Care to join me while I study magic? Perhaps I can ask for your help if I have more questions."
"Alright, come with me. You can study over there at the desk."
The two sat down with Caelum and started to read the content of the book trying to understand how the [ Enchantment magic ] works and how it could help Irene to grow strong while also raising her citizens' hope in fighting against dragons who look down on humans.

Caelum easily created the magic skill by using the information given by the book regarding how it works. The function of magic was all he needed to form the power. It was powerful in a way that it could boost his power in a variety of things. He could even place personality into objects via personality enchantment.
He could only imagine how useful it was against sealing enemies. It essentially manipulates magic to whatever user desires and not simply enchantment.
"Done."
Irene started to get mesmerized looking at him reading that she was taken aback when he suddenly spoke and disappointed that she didn't get enough staring at him.
"Done? It hadn't been an hour? Are you certain that you learnt I use magic?"
"Here, I'll give you how to use it but you still have a long way to go in learning to harness it."
Caelum pointed his finger into her forehead before using his new magic to transfer the memory and help her gather magical energy. A strong gust of wind was produced while Irene digested everything that she was learning and could feel the magical energy churning within her body.
She panting after the overwhelming sensation of gaining the ability to harness magic. Irene felt her body was overwhelmed with power that she could do anything.
"Is this magic? It's unbelievable!"
"Careful, it is still weak and needs continuous training to become reliable. Don't worry, I will train you on how to use your magic."
"How exactly are you able to do this? I've spent years learning magic and yet you manage to do it in a few minutes?"
"I am different compared to you. I've already been exposed more than anyone and different than your average person. Alright, I'll gather more book-"
"Let me help you with that, hope you don't mind teaching me later if possible?"
"I don't mind, there's still a lot of time for us."
For the next several hours, they spent learning magic, mostly Caelum and took breaks in between to get to know each other. Irene grew closer to him and understood more about her magic in utilizing Ethernano, the magical energy in the world. Caelum was able to find a certain powerful magic from [ Arc of Time ], [ Arc of Embodiment ] and to even the basic elemental magic.
[ Arc of time integrated with Yog-Sothoth, lord of time and space. ]

[ Ice, water, fire, etc integrated into True Ultimate Elemental Magic ]
Caelum closed the book and decided to call it a day and found Irene sleeping trying to control his magic. He softly smiled letting her rest then removed his cloak and placed it over her while heading into his grimoire to get some training done. The space within his grimoire had expanded even further than before to create a solar system.
He quickly checked his lovers and found them in the castle occupied by their own accord. Caelum spent the rest of his time with them and had some sparring sessions with Mereoleona who was eager to fight him. He would bring them into the fairy tail world once he finished with the mission of conceiving a child with Irene.
Though, he was unsure how he felt having the responsibility of becoming a father but put it aside and would face it head on. It is still not ideal to get everyone in his harem to get pregnant especially how dangerous the world is.
Caelum began to exercise his body to grasp how powerful exactly he currently is and avoid getting out of hand. He doesn't want to accidentally kill someone because lacking the ability to control his strength. His actions seem to absorb the energy in the surrounding without trying to cultivate.
He was pleased with the result and decided to head back outside where he found Irene began to wake up. She felt a headache after trying to control magic and soon realized that she had fallen asleep then found a cloaking covering her body.
Irene knew that it belonged to Caelum and tried to look around to find him. She didn't take long and soon found him close by reading a book then close it turned to look at her.
"Hope you slept well? I didn't bother waking up upon seeing that you were tired trying to learn by using your magic."
"T-Thank you. I didn't expect that after experience the overwhelming power would actually make me feel more powerless than before."
"No need to get hard on yourself. You'll eventually become a fine enchanter. Anyway, it's already early in the evening."
"Right, can I invite you to have a meal with me or shall I just send it to your room?"
"The former would be ideal. We still have a lot more to discuss."
Irene didn't know why she was glad that he accepted her offer and eagerly headed to the dining hall telling her servants to prepare a meal for them. The guards were still skeptical about his identity but let them be and sat down to have dinner with their queen.
As they waited for their meal, Irene and Caelum took the opportunity to have a chat. He only gave vague answers trying not to reveal everything.
"Right, can I ask for your most trusted retainer? It would be ideal for them to be the first to learn magic."
"It will be done. Would my generals be enough?"
"So long as they came to be trusted then it would be fine. We can't just give everyone magic and expect them to not abuse it."
Irene can see his reason knowing that she may trust them doesn't mean everyone has the same view towards her. Caelum could easily discern if they were worth teaching or not. He aims to become an emperor and unite humans with dragons. Though, how things would turn out in the future is still debatable. Acnologia might not exist anymore but he isn't the main enemy rather the gods.
'I'll ask Irene about the others to live in the empire once I've until everyone.'
After a while, they're meal arrives, letting the two enjoy the evening and celebrate their collaboration for the future.
