Kapitel 110: Chapter 110: New York War (Part 3)

Author: Just finished Miss Marvel today. Honestly...I skipped a lot of the scenes... When they make her a ClanDestine instead of an Inhuman, my interest in the series dropped to the down low.

On the other side of space.

A lone, green-haired Elf is standing on top of a 50-meter-long spaceship. He is wearing silvery armor, and his face is unmasked.

"I understand now why Tony went crazy. Anyone will at this sight," Dawn mumbles.

In front of him, more than 50 leviathans are coming towards the portal. There are a huge number of warships waiting at the end of the leviathans, to come in after the leviathan and gliders created a base on Earth.

There is a 1000 km distance between the mothership and the wormhole.

He is alone, stopping the army from going down the wormhole. However, he's not shaken. The best thing you can give a caster is…distance.

"Dawn, this is me seeing the war through you," Hela said, dissatisfied. Dawn is wearing a transmitter on his left ear. Hela is using it to watch the battle from the island.

"Well, this is the least I can do. Do you not want to watch it?" Dawn asks casually. He isn't wearing a mask right now. If the aliens think he is a human, then what he is doing is useless.

"Don't you dare…"

There are 4 leviathans stuck in front of the wormhole. The leviathan could only fly forward, not backward. They are tied up together using tree roots, growing from the inside of their flesh. They were spinning in front of the wormhole, couldn't go through it, and were moaning in pain. They took out the gliders at the same time.

"If you bring the others, you will have an easier time. You're too soft Dawn Everstar," Hela said as if she was looking at the whole chess board. For the first time in her thousands of years of life, she is now supporting someone else in battle.

Dawn shakes his head. He didn't bring the others as they will be too close with the mothership. If they get killed, they won't be able to revive like him.

"(Sigh) It seems that they spotted me," Dawn said as he took out his staff of Yggdrasil. The Chitauri mothership is charging a shot toward the little fly.

" [Tier 5 Magic: Mirror ]" Dawn mutters as three, 5 meters in diameter, silvery mirrors appeared in front of him.

A green plasma beam was shot toward Dawn from the mothership. *Zhuannng* The beam is stopped by the magic mirror.

Dawn changes the reflection angle and attacks the chitauri army with their reflected beam. It split into 3 beams, heading toward the unlucky ones. A massive explosion occurs in space, taking out 5 leviathan and thousands of gliders.

Inside the Chitauri mothership. The image of Dawn reflecting the beam is projected onto the command center.

"A troublesome guy," A raspy, seductive voice of a woman with blue skin said. She is wearing an outfit like a nun, her blue face has dark lines on its side. Her pupil-less eyes are staring at the Dawn figure on the screen.

They are in space, but the man isn't wearing any life support for his survival. His elf-like demeanor makes Supergiant vigilant. It's very rare to meet an elf in the galaxy.

'Has Odin sent out a warrior?' She thought. A smile brews on her stoic face. "I wonder what his mind tastes like…" she muttered softly.

Even though they know the Bifrost is broken from Loki, they still didn't intrude the nine-realms through Asgard's defense line to avoid entanglement with Odin.

A member of Thanos's Black Order is responsible for this mothership. Sitting inside a dim hall with 50 humanoids in golden armor, Supergiant moves toward a warship to handle the pest. Maybe add him to her collection.

Supergiant warship goes to chase Dawn's spaceship away from blocking them. It closes the distance rapidly before it starts to shoot.

"Head to the nearest planet. You won't be able to win fighting against the warship in space," Hela said. Dawn uses the mirror to reflect the beam to the warship, but it didn't damage it.

"The truth?" Dawn asks as he stared at the donut warship coming toward him. Hela is silent for a while.

"... I want to see a duel…" Hela confessed. Dawn laughs at the honesty.

"All right then, let's see who we are facing," Dawn glances at the warship.

They are only attacking his ship, not him who is standing in front. The ones on board have a lot of battle experience. They figured out his mirror can only deflect attacks coming straight to him.

"There's a desolate planet a hundred thousand kilometers away. Scans show signs of a civilization 13.2 light-years away," R.Q notified Dawn.

The Chitauri just finished culling an entire primitive species before the battle. Robbing their resources to supplement their mechanical army while cutting the population in half. Dawn shakes his head after hearing R.Q's report.

The mothership is charging a powerful shot. They shoot 3 shots at the same time, blowing the leviathan stuck in the wormhole to pieces.

"Brutal," Dawn grinned. He had given Earth a breather for almost 3 minutes when he blocked the wormhole. The warship keeps following him, so he heads out to the closest planet to face them. The ones on the other ship have the same thought.

The mothership didn't realize it, but there is a small stealth ship the size of a condor below it. It stuck itself on the mothership and started to drill a small hole below the ship. An army of spider drones with glowing purple eyes, are waiting for the passage to complete before they wreak havoc inside the unknowing enemy base.

On Earth. New York City.

200 citizens of the city are holed up inside a subway station, 6 blocks away from Stark Tower. A mother holding her scared child, an office manager who has mustard sauce on his shirt, and a waitress from a restaurant nearby.

The ceiling keeps shaking, dust falls from the cracks. A leviathan had plummeted directly on top of the station, making it shake.

"Captain, Thor," Ryan called out to the duo who were fighting together. Thor is flipping cars with Mjolnir, killing the chitauri by crushing them. The captain is retracting his shield which he throws towards a squadron, killing all of them.

"(Huff) Yes," Steve answered Ryan's call. Thor didn't have an earpiece with him. He is standing by the Captain, waiting for orders. The duo is dirty and bloody, but the blood is not theirs.

"Subway station near the American Museum of Natural History is collapsing. I need you there to help people evacuate."

"Where will they go?" Steve asked. He is worried as they are in the middle of the war. Then, he saw the wormhole stop spouting out the army.

"Is that all of them?" He mumbles.

"Don't get your hopes up. My scan shows that the hole is blocked temporarily. Our ally from the other side is giving us some time," Ryan answered. A red Brainbot is meeting up with the duo, leading them to the subway station.

"Hey, I know you…" Thor said gleefully. Isn't this the dramatic robot from his battle with the destroyer?

"Bowg?" The red brainbots push away the hand that wants to pet his head.

"Thor, the tail is blocking the entrance. Remove it,": Steve ordered. A few Brainbots are there. They couldn't get inside to help the people evacuate. Thor's strength is needed there.

The duo walks down the stairs to the underground station. Their presence startled the citizens there.

"We need to evacuate. The ceiling is collapsing," Steve says to the crowd. The people nod and start to stand up. Only an idiot will refuse orders from the Captain.

*Crack* The ceiling shakes again. Over the station, Hulk is grappling with a leviathan. Luckily, Hulk is steering it away from there. Some of the ceilings start to collapse. Thor smashes the debris that is falling, and Steve protects the waitress from getting flattened by the falling bricks.

"Are you okay?" He asks the waitress. He holds his arm toward her, to pull her up.

"Y-yeah," she said bashfully as she took her hand.

"Captain, stop flirting. We only have a short gap before the army comes again," Ryan chided. Steve retorted quickly, "I am NOT flirting."

"Thor, go help Hulk. The beast is taking on two leviathans at the same time," Ryan ordered after the city was out of the station. He takes the time to give the guy an earpiece with the Brainbot.

"The beast is powerful. I cannot lose to him," Thor said as he swung his mighty hammer and flew in the direction where Hulk is fighting. He missed an opportunity to test his mettle against the Hulk earlier in the floating ship. He is feeling a little regretful and wants to fight the beast, but maybe after the battle.

"Where should these people go?" Steve asked. Now that they are exposed, the Chitauri will be coming for them.

"Knight shelter is 500 meters away. The battle there is calming down. You can lead the people to the shelter," Ryan said as he watches Bryan kill the gliders flying around the shelter. Only 20 gliders are flying around like flies over the shelter. Bryan can destroy them before the citizens come.

"Romanov, clean up the enemy on the path. Tony, steer the glider from the West away. Kai, the same. East," Ryan ordered and is moving the Avengers to help. Barton is perching too far away for him to be of use.

There is a kid who lived inside a penthouse near the place Barton is. He shot down the Chitauri who were on their way to kill her after her position is exposed as the walls of the house are blasted open. Barton didn't know that his heroic figure in saving the kid had been imprinted inside the 10-year-old mind. Their path will cross again when it's far into the future.

"It's safe," Steve notified the crowd who was following him as they approached an intersection. The Brainbots are following the crowd from the back as they offer their protection. They are holding a metal pipe in their hand as they are only designed for non-lethal action.

"Bowg? (Mohawk?)" A blue brainbot asked the red one.

"Bowg Bowg (I think it'll look cool)," the Red one answered.

"Get down!" Steve suddenly yelled, startling the brainbots. Three Chitauri stragglers are shooting at the crowd from the front. Steve is tanking the shots, holding his shield up.

"BOWG! (OUR TURN!)" The brainbots ambush the chitauri from behind, smacking them with the metal pipe. Steve breathes out in relief. The Brainbots look idiotic, but they are dependable.

"BOWG! (Bash his stupid face!) Red yelled. The Chitauri are protecting their heads as they lay on the ground. "Shriek( Not the face, not the face!)"

"Only 100 meters to go! " Steve yelled. The crowd stood back up and followed him. They are reaching toward the Knight shelter.

"Hurry and go in, We will give you cover," Bryan and the team said to the Captain. The last 50-meter gap is the most difficult one to pass. The Captain is protecting the back now and letting the Bryan team take the front, leading the people inside.

The shelter opens up 5 small doors that can barely fit a person on the side of the shelter. The citizens are entering the shelter from there.

Elijah Bradly, a young, African-American, and a member of the Knight army is looking at the Captain with a complicated look. His brother in the army, patted his shoulder. Elijah has told him about his history with the super-soldier before.

"Now is not the time," Francis, a french man, told Elijah. He nods and focuses on helping the people.

"HURRY," Bryan said urgently as the radar showed more than 100 gliders coming there, despite all of their efforts. There are still 20 people outside.

The chitauri glider is carrying a big, purple, power source that has incredible energy inside them. It is made from numerous, small power sources that powered up its weapon. They had makeshift the power source into a devastating bomb to take out the shelter.

"Peter, where are you?" Ryan asked urgently. Baymax is supposed to be on its way back.

Inside the shelter, Peter is startled. "One minute!!" He yelled urgently as he controlled BayMax. He got distracted seeing the Iron Man and the Raven fighting the gliders. Not only him but Ned and MJ are distracted too.

"Too late Peter," Ryan said as he cut the call with the kid. Then, Baymax control is returned to him. Peter is stunned. "I told you not to play around!" MJ said as she shook Peter's collar. Peter got so drunk in power that he forgot his responsibility.

"Gwen, can you help?" Ryan contacted the trio who was standing by.

"Finally," Khan said. She already wears the monster suit and is excited. Betty Ross is inside the pink suit that accentuated her alluring figure. But she can't defeat the Angel in looks.

"Yeah sure," Gwen answered calmly.

–Fall Out Boy - Immortals is playing–

"They are here," Bryan said solemnly. Blood on his forehead as the battle had injured them. The army could barely catch their breath before the new ones came. They had been continuously fighting as the shelter was a massive target. Even with the Captain here, it will be a hard battle for them.

*Poof* Suddenly, the sky is dyed pink from a chemical bomb explosion. Pink smoke is covering the Chitauri glider's sight. Betty Ross had thrown the chemical bomb toward them.

"Got to admit, this suits me. The lab purse I mean, not the pinkiness," Betty said as she press the element displayed on the periodic table button, making a new chemical bomb inside the purse.

"My turn," Khan said as she jumped toward the glider and breathed fire at them. The fire reacted with the smoke, causing an immense explosion among the gliders, taking out half of them.

The Chitauri splits up into three directions. 100 of them still survive. It split into 50 going for a frontal assault. 40 are attacking from the side and 10 are going to the back of the shelter. At this moment, the sky starts to spew up the army again. Two leviathans are coming through the portal with thousands of gliders escorting them.

"Breaks time over," Ryan notified all of the participants in the war that is taking a breather. Kai who is cleaning up the entire east side. Tony, who is helping Natasha cover the police so that they manage to change shifts. Thor who is taking down the last leviathan with the Hulk. The Knight army and the D.O.T.U. The US army fighter is on their way. 30 seconds till they arrived in New York airspace.

"Ryan, that's a bomb?" Gwen asks as ALBUS showed her the scan of the purple thing the Chitauri is carrying. It is with the 10 chitauri going to the back.

"Yup, Leave that to Baymax. You and the girls handle the side. Leave the front to Captain and Bryan," Ryan said as he controlled Baymax to go to the back.

Gwen nods and hugs Betty Ross. The woman in the pink suit is puzzled. Gwen powered up the Mercy suit rocket and flew to the side. Betty's suit can't fly.

"What about meee?" Khan in the monster suit asks as she sees Gwen fly away with the squirming Betty.

"JUMP," Gwen yelled from afar.

"Hmph! Preferential treatment," Khan cursed underneath her breath and jumped toward Gwen.

In the front, Bryan is standing side by side with the captain. Steve is tightening the grip on his shield. The chitauri glider is nearing. Bryan shoots out the M-76 while Steve is igniting his jet pack.

Under the cover of the Knight army team, Steve takes down the chitauri in the air, one by one. "We got your back," Bryan said as he shot the chitauri glider who was ambushing Steve. Less than 2 minutes later, the chitauri team is broken. But they couldn't rest. The new wave is coming.

"Knight, this is useless unless we can close the portal," Steve said in a heavy breath. The ground army is encircling the shelter. He can't go anywhere. *BOOM* Steve hears a tremendous explosion nearby.

"What happened?" He asks urgently.

…

At the side of the shelter, Gwen is shooting her palm cannon toward the army from the sky. Green and Blue powder dust are seen all across the streets, as Betty is throwing the chemical bomb relentlessly.

Khan is spewing fire at the ground army. Khan and Betty didn't have any training and their fight is clumsy. Ryan had to give orders to them personally.

"Khan, don't be afraid to jump. Your suit is invulnerable. Betty, please aim before you throw. You're wasting precious chemical,"

"You don't think I know that?" Betty said angrily. It's not her fault that the chitauri is avoiding her throw.

"You need to plan ahead, there are still a lot of combinations you still haven't used," Ryan didn't get angry and said calmly. Betty is affected by his speech that she calms herself. She is thrown into the war unexpectedly. She is nervous and afraid. But with Ryan's guidance, she quickly adapted herself.

*BOOM* Gwen, who is cutting through the glider with her ionized whip, heard the explosion.

"Baby...I mean Ryan, where did it explode?"

"Inside a leviathan mouth BABY," Ryan said excitedly.

Baymax arrived when the chitauri arrived at their position. He didn't fight, but he grabs the activated bomb from the gliders. He flew quickly toward a leviathan that was coming to the shelter and threw it into the creature's mouth. The explosion causes the street to dye in purple blood as the leviathan explodes into pieces.

Replying to the Captain, Ryan informed the group.

"I found a way to close the wormhole. I am going to need Loki's scepter to do it."

"Where is Loki now?" Thor asks.

"Still laying down after a beatdown by the Hulk. The scepter fell near the street, but I couldn't find it," Ryan said. He is puzzled by this. Is there still an enemy he didn't know?

"I will search for the scepter," Kai notified the rest. The Avenger agrees with Kai and continues fighting.

"Be careful," Natasha said to Kai. An unseen enemy is extremely dangerous.

"Don't worry. I will," Kai replied.

"I am not worrying. I am concerned. there is a difference," Natasha said playfully. The ground army is coming into her sight. She takes out her disk and starts to split the chitauri head from their body.

Suddenly, a winged shadow is passing by and yelling at her.

"Worry and Concern are the same things," Kai's voice is fading away from Natasha's place. She smiles softly when she sees him.

...

The key to the entire incident. The glowing stick of Destiny. The scepter with the mind stone on it. Where is it?

In an abandoned alley, a small child with brown hair is spinning the scepter with her hand. It fell a few times as she is too short compared to the scepter. Wearing dirty clothes and broken shoes, she picked up the scepter again.

She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her skin is a little tanned. Doreen Green is five years old this year, and her only friend is the one beside her right now.

"I should give it back?" Doreen asks her friend.

(chitter chatter) A small squirrel is trying to convince Doreen to give the scepter back. She shouldn't take other people's stuff. Doreen is swaying her tail as she thinks. Her tail and the squirrel's tail look the same.

In the sky over the building, a man with an eagle eye is trying to find the scepter that the small squirrel stole.

"Where is it?" Kai mumbles.
