Kapitel 238: Absurd situation
Waking up, I was in a lot of pain. No, it's complicated. This feeling, it's warm and smooth and soft. I guess I am sleeping on the same bed as them.
What the hell happened? Is it morning yet? My body, it hurts. Ugh..this pain, how am I feeling this much pain when I only slept?
I can't move either. I reluctantly open my eyes to check the situation. And it wasn't what I had expected.
I..am buck naked. What in the holy…! How am I naked? And why is everyone else naked as well?
Hazel is hugging me, naked and sleeping. I see Aura, Fay, Gwen and wait a moment?
Am I seeing things or is this real?
It took me a moment to process the reality. Because Samantha is sleeping right next to Hazel. This is weird and weird and WEIRD!
I don't remember a thing! What happened after we went to sleep? I remember them dragging me here and taking their frustrations out on me but what happened? I don't even remember that anymore.
But this pain, ugh…I am sleepy again. Maybe it's just a really lucid dream. Maybe I should just try sleeping more. Yeah! Let's ho to sleep again.
Thinking that and assuring myself, I closed my eyes and fell asleep again.
And I open my eyes again. The pain, it's still there but a little less than before. But I am dressed in a sleepwear and there's no one beside me. Maybe I slept in a weird position or something.
I sit up and stretch my upper body before standing up and doing a full body stretch. As a harbinger I should not feel anemic but when I stretch like this in the morning, it's the same feeling as always.
The initial anemic feeling when suddenly stretching, it never gets old. I should go and wash my face. Then I will have depart to save Samantha as well.
I walk to the door but it opened before I could open it. I saw Hazel opening the door and getting surprised by me.
"Master, you woke up. I was just coming to wake you up." (Hazel)
"Yeah. I think I had a really weird dream but yeah, I am really hungry for some reason."
When the anemic rush ended, I got hit by a hunger pang. My stomach is screaming for food like I haven't eaten anything in a week.
"Breakfast is ready. Fiona went all out today. We all helped too." (Hazel)
She led me to the dining room. I was sleeping in a room that was added as an extension. This house isn't big enough for everyone so Fay and Aura extended the house with <Spirit>.
It's similar to how I added more space to Fiona's house.
I see a lot of people at the table.
"Master, sit here." (Hazel)
She pulled out a chair and I sat down. As always, I am at the round edge of the table. This table is oval so only I can sit at my place.
Besides me are Eden and Nora. I see dad at the opposite end with mom and Aldo. Many things have happened since I had left. I still have some catching up to do.
But before saying anything, I started scarfing down the food. Everything is delicious as always. The salad, it's got a different dressing.
It's spicy but creamy…what is this dressing? And the soup, it's different from usual. Normally we used have onion or carrot soup but this, it's kinda like a pottage. It's tasty but I don't recognize this taste.
And why do I have so many dishes in front of me?
"Master, you need to eat a lot more. You were asleep for five days straight. You have to regain your strength." (Hazel)
Huh? Five days? I was sleeping for five days!
And a new bowl of salad arrives. It has potatoes so maybe a potato salad? I taste it and immediately gobble it up.
It was just that delicious. A new soup arrives as well. A chicken soup. Hmm…now it's more normal. But a new dish arrives as well.
Rice with eggs and chicken on top…I may have seen this dish in the database. It was an oriental dish. Anyway, after eating everything that came my way, I found myself surrounded by a mountain of dishes.
Everyone else waited for me to finish. Then I notice a drink placed in front of me. It's bright red in color and smells kinda floral. What is that?
I take a sip, it's not as sweet as I would've liked but it's good. And the aftertaste is like a tart.
I had a good breakfast. But I ate too much.
Mom was looking at me like she had something to say.
"Mom, why are you looking at me like that?"
"Clive, I just became a mother again. So I like it if you take some time before making me a grandmother." (Mom)
"Uhh…I don't understand. By the way, what happened to me after you all dragged me to that room? I don't remember."
Aura looked at me like she had expected this.
"Honey, look a little more carefully to my side. Who is sitting next to me?" (Aura)
I look at her again. White hair, pale skin, an impossible beauty and birght red eyes…. I just had chills running down my spine.
"Is that you, Samantha?"
My voice probably cracked but that doesn't matter. What is happening? My mind is in disarray. Wasn't she in trouble? I was about to go and save her. Why is she here? Why is she here like it's totally normal?
"Took you long enough to realize that I was here!" (Samantha)
Is she sulking? No, that can wait!
"How are you here? Wasn't your wedding day fixed?"
"Well, a lot of things happened after you were thrown down here. And my wedding got cancelled." (Samantha)
"Cancelled? I thought you can't go against your father."
"Someone else intervened. But thanks to that, my wedding got cancelled. However, you are in for a lot of trouble." (Samantha)
This is way too fast. I may adapt quickly to unexpected situations however this will need some time. I guess, I will be receiving an explanation from them. But this situation seems pretty absurd as if it wasn't already absurd enough.

Asocial_monke I had to hype myself for 3 days to finish this single chapter. As always, I will jump straight into a new situation. Wedding arc is over. One or two more chapters and a new volume will begin.
