Kapitel 24: Chapter 22
I am currently heading home with Fay in my arms. She is still unconscious.
I have already reached home and I didn't meet those other Rangers.
That was probably luck. But I still can't get a read on my power. Can I confront them and win head on?
I launched a sneak attack and won in one shot. But I want to fight them upfront.
No tricks. Just pure strength. Before that, I have to take care of this unconscious princess.
I open the door.
"I am home." I say that hoping to see Hazel.
But she didn't come. Maybe she is mad. I enter with Fay in my hands.
I see Hazel with Eden on the bed. She is sitting and looking at me.
But her eyes are saying that she is mad. Really mad at me.
"Don't be mad. Also scoot over."
I say to her and she made some space. I lay down Fay.
"She is a prisoner of sorts. Treat her with utmost respect." I said to her.
Eden is currently poking her head. Being a bear cub, Eden is curious. She isn't that old yet but she is almost as big as Hazel.
"Eden, don't play with her." I say to Eden.
Now then, should I go and search for those three? This time, I am raising the bar.
I am gonna lure all three together to see my actual fighting abilities.
When I was thinking that I noticed Hazel looking at me.
"What's the matter?"
"...…." She didn't say anything but just beckoned me.
I go to her and she dragged me down. I sat on the bed.
She sits on my lap and turns to while wagging her tail.
"Do you want me to pat you?"
She nods. She wants to be spoiled, huh?
It's true that I haven't spoiled her in a while.
I just pat her head and she is making blissful moans.
I guess she was feeling lonely.
(Spiritual evolution is possible on target. Permission to execute?)
I heard that inorganic voice again. Spiritual evolution? What is that?
I am currently patting Hazel. So who is the target?
Going by how it is, it can only be Hazel.
Should I just do it? But let me ask first.
"Hazel, it seems like you can evolve. What do you want to do?"
Her eyes sparkled for a moment. She is nodding her head and wagging her tail.
She looks very eager.
"Are you sure? I don't know what might happen."
I still am unsure about it. Would it cause some kind of trouble.
But the person in question is ready.
So I just muttered in mind.
(Permission granted.)
(Very well. The target Hazel will now enter sleeping phase. After an hour, the evolution will be completed.)
I hear this and I see Hazel rocking.
She is swaying like she is about to fall asleep and she fell asleep in my lap.
I take her and lay her down on the bed.
"An hour? Let's see."
I set up a timer and wait patiently. And Fay is still asleep.
She doesn't look unconscious but she really is asleep this time.
I sit on the sofa. But suddenly I got sleepy as well.
I guess, I am tired as well. So let's sleep for this hour. The timer will wake me up.

I don't know how long I have been asleep but I think I had a nice dream.
I am feeling something soft on my lips. It's soft. Really soft and kinda bouncy. It's wet and my tongue is being sucked.
Did something get me? I open my eyes even though I don't want to wake up.
However that was a shock. I see a girl. She is directly above me and is sucking my lips.
In other words, she is kissing me. Moreover it's too passionate. She is kissing me like there's no tomorrow.
I was about to freak out. Who wouldn't? An unknown girl suddenly attacked you in your sleep.
This sure counts as sexual violence. But then I thought, who is this girl?
There should be no other human except me. And this is not Fay.
This girl has brown hair. Areeehhh!!!!!
Brown hair and this face is familiar. The one I saw in my dream.
Wait wait..there's no way. Is that Hazel?
I was in deep thoughts but then I noticed that the girl stopped kissing me.
"You woke up, master."
She says. Areh! Again with the master stuff.
I wipe my mouth.
"Is that you Hazel?" I ask her.
"Yes master. This is your faithful Hazel."
She smiles at me. A really warm smile. Filled with affection.
How many years has it been since someone smiled at me like that?
I was overwhelmed with emotions for a moment there.
"But how did you become like that?"
I ask her the question. How did she become human? She should be a dog.
"After you started my evolution, my body changed. My soul became stronger and to contain that soul, my body changed to a humanoid form."
She is saying some outrageous stuff but I get the general idea.
Now that I look at it, she is wearing my shirt. She has brown hair and a model like figure. She is a beauty just as I saw in that dream.
Was that a prophetic dream? She also has ears and a tail.
So she is a dog beastkin. But seeing her only wear a shirt is quite destructive. I have to focus really hard or else something else might get hard.
"Hazel, I will get you some clothes. So stay here."
"Okay." She cheerfully agreed.
It's good that she doesn't mind being seen like that. I still have to ask about that kiss but I will do that later.
Fay is still asleep. How long is this princess going to sleep?
I say that in my mind and go outside to look for some women's clothing.
