Kapitel 72: 72 Trembling Toward Ecstasy

This association raised a question for Adam. Hubert was waiting for him outside the prosecutor's office building today....

"How did you know where I was?" he asked. "Is it...?"

"Piotr." Raymund confirmed his guess. "He called as soon as he left your apartment."

It was as if he was afraid to leave his cousin alone. On another occasion, Piotr's behavior might have irritated Adam, but now it made him happy. There are times when a person needs someone to look after someone close to him, and for the young lawyer this was one of them. Piotr evidently thought that Hubert was just such a person for his cousin.

It's great on Piotr's part that he fully accepts who Adam is.
