Kapitel 47: Chapter 47: Willing and Able

“We’ve tried it without one in the past, and it didn’t work,” Aeden shrugged.

Arras was frowning, “We have also used a priest before, with the same results, or lack of.”

Brennus laughed, “Well, we’ve tried to use at least one…but they never really seem enthusiastic about doing it, though.”

All three vampires laughed at an inside joke. Rhea could only imagine what had happened.

“There has to be some sort of priest who will do it,” she said. “What about one of the priests from the Cathedral?”

“Are you mad?” Aedan laughed.

“They…tried to kill Arras,” Brennus gestured at his friend with his thumb.

Even Arras raised a skeptical eyebrow.

Rhea crossed her arms, “What choices do you have? Maybe they have had time to reconsider their position, and will help with the cure?”

None of the vampires looked optimistic, but Rhea didn’t know if that was because they weren’t optimistic or if those were their normal vampire faces.
