Kapitel 30: Chapter 30: Differences Between Siblings

Artemis’ POV

We joined the pack an hour later, and by then the rain has turned into a storm covering London. The rest of the pack has been making their way back to the shelter as they shake out their wet hair and joke with each other about the deluge, but no one seems really bothered about it.

“Hey, Beck," says Willow as she approaches us. Her hair is braided behind her back, and as she walks, she tries in vain to dry her mane.

She looks at me with hatred, but she hides it well. She concentrates more on Beck than on me, so she soon changes the direction of her gaze.

“We have some news. I need you to come with me for a moment," she asks him.

“Okay," Beck replies, then he gives me a brief glance and then leaves with Willow, just as someone else approaches me.

“I can take care of you if you want. After all, we are almost family.”
