It had almost been a month after the Aemilia clan's occupation of the Kerther lowlands. A lot had happened during that time period. Almost every part of the lowlands was successfully occupied by the  Aemilia and any hint of rebellion was successfully crushed.

In truth, it was not like the inhabitants of the Kerther lowlands had a chance and the motivation to repel their temporary overlords, to begin with. The very nature of the lowlands and its lord the Kerther clan was heavily focused on the acts of trade and commerce from the start. It was often joked about that the lowlands and the Kerther clan existed at the mercy of its neighbors because any one of them had the military might capable of crushing the Kerther.
