Kapitel 88: Tom and Jacob

Ignoring the fact that his shoes were literally on fire just a few seconds ago, Alex casually walked up to the front desk to get directions to Tom's room and immediately went on his way.

The door to Tom's room was wide open so he just strolled right in without a care, this was his best friend after all, why would he need to knock anyways? Unfortunately, Alex hadn't considered the fact that Tom might already have visitors, his mother for instance...

"Alex!" Tom said with excitement the moment he saw his best friend enter the room.

"Hey man, just came by to see how you were doing." Alex quickly directed his eyes to Tom's mother. "And it's good to see you Mrs Kips, I'm sorry if I'm interrupting."

Tom's mother was a tall woman, almost as tall as Alex who stood at 1.86 meters tall (6ft1). She had a slender frame but unlike Jenna, Alex's mom, she lacked any visible signs of malnutrition and looked healthier in general.
