Kapitel 7: UCHIHA MATCH AND IMPROVEMENT
Its been some time since uchiha gave them their regiment and they are showing improvements , nishinoya while at the starting could not even receive one ball properly with blindfold on can now receive 4 ball continuously but fails to receive further since either he can't detect where the ball is coming from next and even if he do he is not fast but his instincts are getting sharper .
Asahi sempai on the other hand has understood the meaning of ' there is not only one way to score' he now hits on finger tips and side of fingers to score , his jump and maybe low due to the weights but once he take them off he will be able to jump higher and his hand strength has also increased .
sugawara sempai while now can toss to any end of court but he is not fast enough to reach anywhere on court to but he is still showing improvements .
Daichi sempai has started to call for tosses and has also increased his speed now he can receive most of the spikes accept for those with spin and we are still working on it .
Tanaka sempai has also started to spike creatively and his arm strength will also increase once he takes the weight off.
yamaguchi has grown more confident since starting of his martial art training now he gets less nervous while performing serves and his arm strength has also increased due to weights , now he merely misses and jump floater and we are working on his normal jump serves .
Kageyama can now understand his team mates more since uchiha had him play with them more and tosses th where the finds it comfortable to spike , his speed and reflexes also improved , while earlier he could not reach to block on time now he tries to block more with tsukishima .
AND LASTLY
Hinata , i have to say he showed most improvement among all , his training was also special , i had him receive kageyama's coach and yamaguchi's serve non stop and with blindfold on his reflexes got sharper and he can read where the ball will come from and his already monstrous speed and agility increased due to weights and his jumping power also increased his vert jump can now easily be used to block most spikes .
I had all of them practice jump serves while hinata and tsukishima misses a lot and has less power , daichi and tanaka sempai can do jump serves almost at the same level of asahi sempai , and due to them playing 2 vs 2 on beach most of them can set and receive averagely
*SIGN* ' they are working extra hard today , looks like seeing me play has lit a fire in them and it's good since they need this fire' today everyone is working with extra determination because yesterday it was the first time they saw uchiha play and they being shocked is an understatement since even the other teams were shocked and bokuto was literally buttering uchiha all day to play against him.
*FLASHBACK*
Karasuno was performing even more poorly than they did in original since they had weights on . During their match with fukurodani academy , tsukishima finger started to bleed due to bokuto's spikes so uchiha decided to step in " tsukishima you go to medical wing i will be substituting you" Uchiha was also excited to play against one of the top teams but he played with the blindfold on , he wanted to test his instincts in a official match . there were only 2 sets remaining of the match .
Uchiha entered into court under the shocked expression of players , not only fukurodani but karasuno players were also shocked . The match started with hinata's serve , which was a normal serve and yamato sarukui easily received it and it went towards akaashi who set it to bokuto but just as he was about to set they heard a voice " To bokuto and cross " and it happened just like the voice said it was set to bokuto who tried to hit a cross but got denied by kageyama and daichi sempai earning karasuno a point , now the score was 2nd set 13-19 with fukurodani in lead . they turned their heads towards the voice and noticed the one who said that and they got shocked seeing who said , it was uchiha who said that , he knew this because he was using belial eye to see future of enemies , he only uses belial eye when he is blindfolded since whenever he uses them his eye would shine and it will be suspicious to everyone else but this also has a drawback since it will not be able to see his teammate's future . Also with his blindfold on , his animal instincts work at their full capacity since he cannot see from eyes , in this state he can even feel the whole court with his eyes closed and even the smallest movement or activity will not go unnoticed .
Members of fukurodani were also shocked since they saw someone tell what type of spike coming with his eyes covered . they decided to to pay more attention to uchiha and this was what uchiha wanted since they will hesitate now before tosses which will lead to mistakes . the game again started and this time it was fukurodani turn to serve , they served and hinata easily received it , uchiha told kageyama to fake set with him by hand sign , his other team members also understood what they wanted to do and got ready , fukurodani saw kageyama about to set but then they saw uchiha behind kageyama appear suddenly and the ball which was initially going to be set towards asahi sempai got tossed towards daichi sempai earning karasuno a point. 14-19 , normally this type of fake would not have worked most blockers do read blocking and block after ball leaves the setter but uchiha managed to reproduce misdirection in this world , due to him wearing a blindfold many would not notice him which helped him reduce his presence and due to uchiha suddenly appearing other's focus suddenly broke giving their attention tpo uchiha they did not focus on ball giving daichi the required time to shoot without block. its misdirection again only this time its on ball not player and the toss was also fast , it only took 5 sec between when ball left uchiha's hand till the sound is heard , its ridiculously near the speed of freak quick , only difference is freak quick takes only 3 seconds to perform.
when fukurodani were still in daze , they heard ball hit floor and came out of their daze . Seeing this bokuto shouted "WOOHHH--- what was that ??!? is there someone else who can also use that super fast quick??!!?" hearing this akaashi replies instantly" no , that was not freak quick , even though it was very fast , it is still little slower than the quick hinata and kageyama do , but this move is more deadly than their since it goes unnoticed and it's direction could be changed unlike their's , its like he erased his presence on court first and then with his sudden appearance he erased the presence of ball from our perspective "when Akaashi said this , everyone heard it since the match was already center of attention the moment uchiha entered the court wearing blindfold .
On the other side with nekoma everyone were staring at uchiha for a moment , then they turned towards towards kenma for answers since his eyes were the sharpest among everyone in the gym , feeling the gaze of his teammates kenma replied " I saw it , second before you saw " they got confused what he meant , then kenma elaborated " Assume it took him 5 sec to reach kageyama from his position , you guys saw it at 0th second means the moment he appeared for you it was out of nowhere but for me i saw it at the 1sec meaning just a second before he appeared so i was able to follow the ball and it was very fast , not at hinata's quick but still fast , but it's speed is not what it is deadly for , we volleyball players has built in instinct to watch every player on court and their movement so when he suddenly appeared we focused on him making it look like ball disappeared since the toss was as fast as kageyama's king toss , it was only slower than freak quick because it was not hinata who spiked it" when others heard it they showed stunned expression and looked towards uchiha who was getting ready for his serve .
It was uchiha's turn to serve and he did a normal jump serve using only 50% of his power , when his hand landed on ball it went with extreme speed and landed between akaashi and akinori konoha earning karasuno a point 15-19 , the match continued this way with his service ace stopped after 4 points 18-19 , with the emergence of uchiha the team was able to score some points but volleyball is a team game and his teammates were not able to do much due to practice weights 21-24 , akaashi tossed to wataru onaga who spiked but was received by daichi who sent it towards the setter position where kageyama was ready to set it to uchiha , uchiha seeing this took the runup and jumped and it was very high , his jump was only lesser than hinata so he had a very high spike point , it was so high that his chest was upper than net and when he spiked the ball the ball hit the floor with a loud noise *BOOOOOOM* 22-24 but uchiha alone cant do much so they still lost with final score 2nd set 22-25 and 3rd set 23-25.
