Kapitel 168: Deep anger

"By the way, why are you here, Kye?" Ras asked once they went to his quarter. They were in his private place, so they could talk more at ease.

Kye settled into a comfortable seat, still feeling a mix of wonder and relief at their reunion. He looked at Ras, his expression thoughtful.

"To be honest," Kye began, "The academy I was at got attacked by the monsters. And while I was fighting, I lost all of my friends..." Ras' eyes widened after hearing Kye.

"Wait, did they die? No, what type of monsters attacked your academy?"

"No, of course not, they didn't die, I think," Kye answered truthfully although he was a little taken aback by Ras' expression. "And we were... attacked by some insect monsters." Thinking back, Kye started to get angry again. He had lost all of his friends because of this attack. He didn't know if he should blame himself in this situation for lacking greatly in terms of power, or the monsters for their attacks.
