Chu Yuechan dodged to the right and created an intense cold from her right hand. A bright blue light escaped her skin, sealing the small part of the "sealed." island in thick ice.
An ice-cold sword shone and clashed with a sharp claw of the devil, causing a bell-like noise to tremble in the area. At first, Chu Yuechan cannot defend herself from this attack.

Her mind flashed to several places, but an odd instinct told her to go south. She flew for a whole day without rest and arrived at the seashore.
A fresh salty air invaded Chu Yuechan's nose, which somehow calmed her mind more than Frozen Heart Art. She landed on the white sand and felt cold sea water graze over her heels.
Chu Yuechan can't describe this feeling. After receiving the Dragon God's blood, her overall senses increased beyond normal.
"This is a mess." Chu Yuechan smiled wryly behind her veil.
Even though heightened senses are good, she couldn't control them very well because Dragon God's Blood isn't fusing with her perfectly. She has to adapt to these new changes for a few days.
She looked at the vast sea and gradually frowned because something was wrong. There is this very "Evil." sensation lingering between the breeze of sea winds. Chu Yuechan's instinct told her to run away, but Netherworld Udumbara Flower's description suddenly flashed into her mind.
"The Netherworld Udumbara Flower is an entity of Extreme Yin and evil. It only grows in dark and cold lands. And it took an entire twenty-four years to only bloom once. The flower withers three days after blooming, which one would have to wait twenty-four years later for it to bloom again."
"Evil..." Chu Yuechan's eyes shone a little. The dragon blood inside her seemed to have flared with excitement. Dragon God, albeit perverted in nature, is very righteous against such an intense Evil.

A bunch of scenarios erupted in her mind, but only one remained in the end. With a determined look, she flew past the barrier and said, "I have to do it."

Chu Yuechan also grasped the barrier existing around the island made of transparent water but entirely black. She reached over the water and gasped in fear.
"There is something inside." She mumbled while trying to take a glance inside the island.
A flower. Yes, a flower entered Chu Yuechan's sight.
Its stem and leaves are of a purplish black color and are about three meters tall. It has yet to bloom, but Chu Yuechan knows this flower will bloom because the petals start to unravel a little, revealing a light purple mist.
"Netherworld Udumbara Flower." Chu Yuechen clenched her fist in excitement. This flower is the item Hayate wanted, alongside 35kg Purple Veined Divine Crystals and Three Tyrant Cores.
Out of nowhere, a purple claw grasped Chu Yuechan's neck and pulled her into the island.

"Kuh!" Chu Yuechan was thrown to the rock, causing her to choke in the air. She grasped the ground with her palm and lifted her eyes.

"How dare you compare me with a mere Devil!" The devil growled in anger. "I'm the King of the Eternal Night Devil Clan! the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign!"
"You wench with Dragon God's Blood, how dare you!"
A sharp claw flew past the blooming light and almost reached Chu Yuechan's eyes.
BAM! CLANK!
"Hou..." The devil's eyes widened in awe.
A thick layer of ice was blocking his claw, stopping it from reaching this wench's eyes. However, it was too weak.
BAM!
He kicked the ice and smacked Chu Yuechan's body with extreme might. A painful scream escaped her mouth.
"ARRGGGHHHHH!"
"Ha-."
"Yate..."
Chu Yuechan's rib cages shattered to pieces. She couldn't even breathe properly and felt cold invading her body. It is not the usual cold from her profound art but the coldness of death itself.
"Hmm, you're dying already?" The Moon Slaughter Devil glared, causing his wrinkle to flex into a tick mark. He was annoyed because how could this woman die so effortlessly?
BAM!
He angrily stomped Chu Yuechan's left hand and added, "That Damned Evil God, just how long he sealed me in this place?"

Moon Slaughter Devil was disappointed because this woman was dead already. He sighed and decided to erase her to improve his mood.

A broken ice noise entered his ears.

"I... I-I can't die yet..." A desperate voice escaped Chu Yuechan's pale lips.
"How? Your life force has disappeared, so how could you be alive?" The Moon Slaughter Devil couldn't believe his eyes for a moment. He was sure this woman had lost her life.

Like a broken kite, Chu Yuechan's left hand bent abruptly and lashed out of the devil's leg. Her eyes dimly shone like a flickering candle.

The Moon Slaughter Devil was caught off guard and felt an eruption of cold hitting his face, pushing him several meters away. He was unharmed but clearly surprised.
Chu Yuechan's body twisted and abruptly lifted in the air, standing with her legs. Her chest was sunken abnormally because of the previous attack from the devil.
She moved her gaze slowly and stared at the Netherworld Udumbara Flower. "I have to get it..." She walked like a disabled person to the flower.
Her right leg was dragged, creating a broken line on the ground.
"I see you wanted that flower." The Moon Slaughter Devil appeared and kicked her away. "I WON'T LET YOU WENCH!"
BAM!
Chu Yuechan's body flew again like a cannonball and smashed against the barrier this time. A mouthful of blood abruptly was spewed from her mouth.
'I can't die...'
'Promise...'
'For Hayate...'
Out of sheer will, Chu Yuechan stood again and walked toward the Netherworld Udumbara Flower.
"Tch, DIE!" The Moon Slaughter Devil stabbed her in the chest and crushed her heart. A bloody hole left Chu Yuechan quiet for a moment. Just for a moment.
Chu Yuechan tilted her head and looked at the devil with a pair of lifeless eyes. A tear ran down her eyes.
"Why... Did you disturb me..?"
"I only want to keep... Keep my promise with him?"

Shivers. Like a ghost whispering straight into his soul, the Moon Slaughter Devil released his arm from Chu Yuechan's chest. He watched the human flop onto the dirty dirt, painting her snowy robe in red and brown.
The King of the Eternal Devil Clan was afraid. He couldn't believe it.
Klak!
Chu Yuechan's bones grind against each other and weirdly fix themselves. At first, she was walking abnormally but slowly became normal. Like an illusion, A new healthy heart formed inside Chu Yuechan's bloody chest, which left the Moon Slaughter Devil speechless.
"Just what are you?" The devil stood in front of Chu Yuechan and blocked her. Still, She kept walking and dragged him with her.
"ANSWER ME!!!"

With dark energy in his palm, the Moon Slaughter Devil used one of his killer moves and swept over Chu Yuechan's body in darkness, sending her into a tree.
He didn't stop there and kept bombarding that area with a dark energy blast, creating a deep crater.
'Why...' Chu Yuechan stared at the gloomy sky.

"I know you can do it." His soothing voice tickled her cheeks.
Hayate slowly approached Chu Yuechan and planted his lips against hers, claiming her once again. A warm feeling washed over Chu Yuechan's body.

The Moon Slaughter Devil stood on the tip of the deep crater and confidently commented, "She should die now."
"Well, This human gives me some trouble-."

A white flash suddenly burst out of the crater and stood beside him.
He trembled and slowly gazed at the woman, who looked like a ghost. Her eyes are lifeless with a little spark of light inside them.
'Wait for me, Hayate...' An eerie smile formed on Chu Yuechan's rising lips.

In the first week, Chu Yuechan fought against the Moon Slaughter Devil and refined her technique to the extreme.
She learned Frozen Divine Art perfectly and increased her cultivation to the middle stage of Tyrant Profound Realm. Her fighting style also changed a lot.

He tried almost everything to defeat Chu Yuechan, slicing her to pieces, polluting her mind and body with dark energy, poisoning her blood, destroying her profound veins, etc. Yet, she persisted and regenerated like no fucking tomorrow.

Chu Yuechan waved her ice sword to move the Moon Slaughter Devil's claw away and pulled an Ice Spear to stab him in the guts.

Her ice spear failed to reach the devil as dark energy blew it away, so she decided to kick him and released an intense cold light from her palm.
"Frozen End Divine Art: Thousand Ice Armaments." Chu Yuechan's profound energy ignited and covered the island, freezing everything.
Even the Moon Slaughter Devil's dark energy lingering in the air was frozen solid because of her. After that, thousands of ice weapons formed, and each could kill everything below the Sovereign Profound Realm.
As for the devil who possessed peak Sovereign Profound Realm strength, he wouldn't be left unscathed by this attack.

The Moon Slaughter Devil coughed black blood and stared at Chu Yuechan like she was a monster. He left with no choice but to use his last card.
"Eternal Night's Slash." He created a sword of pure dark energy and slashed Chu Yuechan's body into millions of pieces.
"DIE!"
"ETERNAL VOID!" A purple light covered Chu Yuechan's body and compressed tightly.

Chu Yuechan closed her eyes and waited for a few seconds. The pain of being butchered doesn't bother her anymore. No, she just couldn't feel pain anymore.
