Kapitel 12: Assassination

Yu Yan touched her face, the faint pain was trickling her. She walked to her bed and sat there , squeezing the bedsheet in fear. The sounds of swords clashing and people shouting at each other haunted her timid soul.

More than that she was getting worried about her husband who just went out to join the fight.

'Will he be alright?' She murmured under her breath,her clutch on the bed sheet tightens up. Tears overwhelmed her eyes, she could feel how useless she was to Zhang Xing.

"I knew that mercenary knight had kidnapped you , your royal highness."

A deep yet soothing voice said .

Yu Yan lifts her face up and sees that blonde man from before. Wiping her tears she replied,"W-What are you doing here?" Her voice didn't stutter much as she was angry at him. Because of him Zhang misunderstood her to be in an affair with him but in reality she has never ever talked with this guy Hao Fei.
