Ethan lay panting on the floor. He had been given a few minutes break from his vigorous training by Hermes. His breath was heavy and his clothes were plastered to his body from all the sweat on him. Ethan thought of Hermes's newfound paranoia that Hades was after him. The Protector had turned even grumpier and much more unpleasant than before.
Hermes now trained Ethan at dawn, in the afternoon at school, and deep into the night. His afternoon training at school was even more painful for two reasons. One; it left Ethan much more tired and sweaty than even the dawn training and made concentrating for his next lessons in school even more difficult.
