Who knew how many documents I could sign in one day?

It’s a lot.

Angela gave me contract after contract for my John Hancock and I’m pretty sure I’ve got carpal tunnel.

Honestly, it really hindered my research.

I stumbled on some files in the pack database about some highly trained shifters. It was password-protected and when I asked Angela if she knew about it, suddenly all these files that needed signatures were the top priority of the day.

I don’t even know what I did to piss her off this time.

Rolling out my wrist, I open the door to the mansion.

I’m not prepared for what greets me.

It’s a frenzy. I’m assaulted with the freshly cut flora scent of hundreds of bouquets.

They’re everywhere.

“What in the world…?”

“Cayden! Cayden.”

Through the garden that has now consumed the foyer, I find Soleil running toward me. Her hair is falling from her delicate bun and her mascara has been smeared, most likely from wiping her eyes.
