Kapitel 46: Chapter 46: Expect Us

Mary stood next to the large windows of Rocco's office back at the Kitty Kat Club, watching Eva give directions to the other girls and a few of the boys for the night's performances. She was pointing here and there, giving her blessing to something or absolutely denying others. Mary smirked at how the 23 year old was blossoming into her own person and how much she had changed in the couple of years she had been employed at the club. The shy little bird who first walked through those doors was finally finding her wings.

"Reminds me a lot of me." She mused to herself as the door opened.

Out of her peripheral vision, she saw Takeshi and Kimiko make their way to stand next to her. Takeshi wordlessly wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and she leaned into him with a sigh of content as the three of them watched the controlled chaos down below.
