Kapitel 92: Ch. 92 Aria's Request (part 1)

Aria nodded her head once, then averted her gaze in embarrassment.

"You… saved me again." one hand rose gently to caress Aria's face. "Thank you."

Surprisingly, Aria detected a tone of disappointment in Lyod's voice, making her feel uneasy.

"Are you angry?"

"Why should I?"

"Why do I feel you are disappointed in me?"

For a moment, Lyod was surprised because he didn't expect Aria to read the mood he was trying to hide. In the next second, an amused chuckle escaped from Lyod's mouth.

"No, Aria. I'm not disappointed in you but myself. I should have been the one protecting you, but somehow… I always looked powerless, and you had to save me."

Aria shook her head, quickly refuting that statement. "That is not true. If you weren't by my side, I wouldn't be able to withstand the two forces within my body. I was able to control it thanks to you."

"Me?"
