How to prepare for the funerals? It was the hardest part of our plan. All the team members that participated in planning and making the plan a reality were sitting in the living room on the third floor. The coffee table in front of us turned into the dining table, served with a mix of vampire and human blood. All the vampires were sipping blood, while humans, such as Helena and me, were eating sandwiches. Jared and Jace couldn't decide what they want, so they chose sandwiches and were drinking blood. I chuckled and rubbed their heads. 

"How it was? Anyone saw his face?" Markus asked, and put his empty glass on the table. Eleanor and I exchanged views, then we nodded at each other and looked at Markus. 

"At first he was shocked, then satisfied when he realized you're dead and there's no one left to spoil his plan in achieving his goal," I said, then took a glass of orange juice and made a sip.
