Kapitel 88: Brothers

We turned our heads to see Mallory standing in the doorway with a small bag in her hands. She came closer, put the bag on the floor, and sat on the carpet looking at the boys hugging each other. 

"Are you going somewhere?" 

"I wanted to go visit Kristof if you Markus don't mind?" She looked at him and I bet her eyes were almost pleading. Markus turned his eyes from the boys who fell into the carpet and started playing with the toys I gave them, and looked at Mallory. 

"You can do whatever you want. You're not my prisoner," he answered, then threw a sharp look at her, "Why do you think you need to report to me where you're going?"

"You're the head of the Malone Clan, no?" Mallory smiled, trying to make the situation easier as Markus was irritated, and it was sensible in his aura. "I just want to…"
